How to Disable Power Management In Windows 7 & Windows Vista

Sleep mode will make the computer needs some time until the computer really ready to do a command that you entered.

Disabling Power Management will not cause any effect on the computer as a desktop PC does not need saving as in the notebook battery. What's more if you install Windows on a virtual machine during a test.
To disable power management in windows 7:

Click on the icon of existing power bottom right and proceed to click More power options.

Additional Plans at the bottom, select the Change plan settings.

Select Never at all the options drop down menu and continue with changes press the Save button.



If you want to disable Power Management on Windows Vista, follow these instructions:

Click the Start menu and proceed to click Control Panel. After that, continue with the click System and Maintenance.



Now click the Power Options.



Then click on High Performance.
